The Tree of Life is a universal symbol that represents the interconnectedness of life on earth with the universe. It also signifies wisdom, beauty, strength, and fertility among many other important traits.
This past year has been challenging on so many levels. World conflicts, extreme climate and weather conditions, the effects of inflation, health issues, and many other situations may have contributed to a difficult year for you.
Regardless of the issues this past year, you can look to trees for Positive Living inspiration.
Roots help ground you, and how you nurture those roots support your values and growth. What you nurture will grow. Why not nurture traits of positivity, kindness, and gratitude for yourself and help bring out the best in others?
The trunk of trees represents your core. This core embodies your character and values. How do you present your core? Do you practice self-care? Do you exercise, meditate, walk in nature, and eat healthy foods? In relationships with others are you compassionate? Do you act on your beliefs to help make the world a better place?
The branches of trees reach out and develop leaves that give off oxygen. When you inhale fresh air, be sure to exhale all the stress and negativity from your body.
The leaves also offer shade.  They may blow in the wind and bring refreshing breezes that can be a welcoming respite on a warm summer day.
Leaves need sunshine. How will you feed your soul with sunshine and appreciate the interconnectivity of trees and the world?
Are you connected to your community? Do you provide a place of comfort and shelter for family and friends just as trees do for wildlife?
Trees are diverse just as people are. This diversity helps to make the earth a natural and attractive place. Embrace your uniqueness and always be proud of who you are.  Enjoy your natural beauty and respect the beauty of others
Trees give many benefits to support your well-being. What can you do to support wellness in others? It could be something as simple as a compliment or encouraging words to lift one’s spirit.
Be sure to end this year with a special prayer.
Then think of trees in 2023.
Stand tall, stay strong, and keep growing.
Peace and love,
Lora
