Let Your Spirit Fly
The month of June brings beautiful flowers, delicious fruits, vegetables, and lots of sunshine. It is time to let go of the burdens of past months and begin to unwind for the summer. As you slow down, consider all the good in your life and develop a plan for letting go of that which no longer serves you well.
Once your mind is at ease, consider how you will spend more time with family and friends who bring joy to you. Care for yourself by getting outdoors daily; read, relax, and walk barefoot on the grass. Allow the added daylight to nurture your soul. Find ways to cultivate time and pleasure around your work schedule during this special month. Plan trips to the shore, take a boat ride, picnic at the park, ride a bike, or just enjoy idle time.
As the Summer Solstice approaches on June 21st, use the energy of the sun to bring in stillness. It’s nature’s way of helping you recharge and rejuvenate. So, enjoy all that this month has to offer and don’t forget to let your spirit fly!
