Believe in Yourself!
As we approach the changing of seasons from summer into autumn, reflect on the worries of the past and see if they are not as important to you now as they were then. What will you do differently to reduce worry the next time? Â Positive Living is about taking charge of your life by making choices that are beneficial to your body, mind, and spirit. Choices for thoughts and actions are yours to make; you are in control.
The posts this month from A Handbook for Positive Living A Through Z cover the chapters of Understanding and Worry.
To address worries:
Go back to the “what ifs” of summer and see how things worked out.
It is always important to allow yourself time to process the worries at your own speed, but it is also imperative not to get stuck there. Just as leaves change color in autumn and trees shed what they no longer need, give yourself enough love to let go of what you cannot control, use a plan to address what you are worried about and trust the process.
Also, you can try to help others through understanding. Put yourself in their shoes to help you understand what they might be worried about. Listen with your ears; but understand through your heart and mind.
You are stronger than you think. Do not allow worries to consume you. Take necessary steps this autumn to address your worries, do what is best for you, and always have faith in the decisions you make.
You’ve got this!
With love and serenity for the beautiful autumn season,
Lora
